Before Toto was formed The members of the band performed sessions for other musicians. In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by scouring through demos and tapes from the past to release a special edition called Toto XX. The album was well-received by fans and the band embarked on a tour that featured former members Bobby Kimball, Steve Porcaro, and Joseph Williams.
Shem von Schröck took over Leland Sklar as drummer on the tour in support of the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live album titled Falling in Between, which included live recordings from the tour and an interview with Toto.

The track “Africa” is from the album Toto IV. The song was written by members of the band and produced by David Paich. It was a huge success in Europe and other countries.
